Secure File Transfer System
The Secure File Transfer System (SFT) facilitates the transmission of ultra-sensitive data to Document Express via public or semi-public network access — without compromising data integrity. Currently used by the Federal Reserve System, the SFT System employs proprietary algorithms that are platform- and character coding-independent. The algorithms enable Document Express to retrieve encrypted files from their public location and save the data within a secure database.

.PDF Encryption for E-mailed Documents
MHCPDFPro™ is recommended for the encryption of PDF documents to be e-mailed. Many organizations are interested in having formatted PDF documents e-mailed to employees with Payroll information while maintaining secure access only to the employee of this sensitive data. Document Express creates an encrypted .PDF and attaches it to an e-mail transmission. Recipients are required to enter a password to view the document.

Encryption compliance for Outgoing Files
Many financial institutions are recommending encryption of Positive Pay files when they are transmitted to the bank to maintain greater security of this information. MHC offers services to incorporate external Encryption Software previously purchased by our clients or similar software available at no additional charge into the Document Express Positive Pay application.
